Kaitlyn Poling is a Photographer and Videographer based in Columbus Ohio.
Born and raised in Columbus, i found a love for pictures and video at an early age. Growing up i would steal my mothers polaroid and disposable cameras to take pictures of any and everything!
On my 13th birthday i received my very first digital camera. A Kodak EasyShare MD853, and from that day i never stopped taking pictures and videos. I fell in love capturing my family and friends. For 8 years I was a Partnered Youtube Content Creator. While in high school i was offered a spot at Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center. I spent 2 1/2 years in their Film and TV Production program to further my eduction in both Photography and Videography.
I graduated from Fort Hayes in 2013 at the top of my class, and recieved the Award of Distinction. At the 2013 Fort Hayes Film festival my partner and I won the award for “Best Lighting” on our BTS filmmaking Reality Short. In the summer of 2013 I took home the 3rd place award at Ohio Shorts Film Festival Presented by The Ohio State Wexner Center for the Arts. That award was for the documentary “OUT” This was a short documentary compiling the LGBTQIA+ coming out stories of 18 people ages 13-44.
After school i started taking commissions from family and friends in order to build my portfolio and turn my creative eye into my career. I love being able to capture life’s most special moments for all my clients and be apart of their special day!
